A Message from the Flagbearer

Dear Fellow Ghanaians,

It is with immense gratitude and humility that I write to you as the running mate to H.E. John Dramani Mahama, a man whose vision and leadership I hold in the highest regard. I extend my sincere thanks to him and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for once again entrusting me with this great responsibility.

In H.E. Mahama, I see a leader with an unshakeable love for our country, a deep sense of purpose, and a clear vision for the transformation of Ghana. His legacy is one of unmatched dedication, incorruptibility, inclusivity, and an unwavering commitment to placing the welfare of the people above all else. These are qualities that inspire hope and confidence in a brighter future for Ghana, and it is my honor to stand with him as we work toward that shared goal.

Historical Significance and Our Vision

Much has been said about the historical nature of this partnership, and indeed, it is an honor to be part of such a momentous occasion in our nation’s history. However, I believe that what truly matters is not just making history, but reshaping it—redefining leadership and governance in Ghana to deliver tangible benefits for our people.

Our mission is clear: to offer far-reaching leadership that resets the direction of our country. This entails restoring hope in our democratic system, renewing trust in public officials, and creating an environment where every Ghanaian can achieve their full potential. Together, we aim to build a Ghana where opportunities abound, where governance is transparent and accountable, and where the needs of every citizen are met with dignity and fairness.

The election on December 7, 2024, is not just another election. It is a defining moment—a critical juncture in our nation’s journey. It is an opportunity to reverse the deeply negative trends that have plagued our country in recent years. Under the current administration, we have witnessed a worrying decline in governance, accountability, and the quality of life for our people. This election is our chance to change that trajectory and usher in a new era of hope and progress.

When you entrust us with your mandate, H.E. John Dramani Mahama and I make a solemn pledge to honor that trust every single day. We understand the weight of this responsibility, and we will approach it with integrity, dedication, and an unyielding focus on the national interest.

Building a New Ghana

1. Empowering Women and Youth

For our youth, we will prioritize job creation, skills development, and education to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of a changing world.
