A Message from the Flagbearer

 Fellow citizens of Ghana,

In December, our nation will face one of the most critical decisions in its history—an election that will determine not just the direction of governance, but the very soul of our nation. On the ballot will lie two distinct choices: to continue down the current unsustainable path or to embrace a much-needed reset—a fresh start to restore good governance, alleviate the hardships of our people, and chart a new course toward economic transformation.

Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of traveling across our beloved country multiple times. Along this journey, I have met and engaged with a broad spectrum of Ghanaians, including traditional leaders, fisherfolk, traders, market women, artisans, farmers, FinTech innovators, journalists, teachers, miners, students, and young people. I have interacted with hairdressers, workers’ unions, creative industry professionals, members of the security services, and countless others.

In these encounters, I have heard firsthand accounts of the harsh socio-economic realities confronting our people. I have seen resilience in the face of adversity and the indomitable spirit that defines us as Ghanaians. But I have also witnessed despair and frustration caused by mismanagement and bad governance.

Beyond the challenges, I have been inspired by the aspirations and dreams that my fellow citizens hold for a better Ghana. These dreams echo the vision of our forebears—a prosperous and democratic state grounded in the principles of freedom and justice, offering equal opportunities to all. This shared vision is the Ghana we must work together to build—a nation where every individual has the chance to thrive.

Once again, I seek the mandate of the good people of Ghana to lead us toward this vision. I do so with humility, deep reflection, integrity, and the resolve of an experienced leader who recognizes that our beloved country is heading in the wrong direction. Together, we can rescue Ghana and put it back on the right track.

A Renewed Promise for a Better Ghana

With your support, the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) government under my leadership will implement a comprehensive set of policies designed to transform our nation for the benefit of all. This is more than a promise—it is a solemn pact between us, a shared commitment to lift Ghana out of its current challenges and toward a brighter future.

We are presenting the Ghanaian people with a carefully crafted blueprint aimed at revitalizing our economy and fostering prosperity. Our plans include:

• Economic Transformation: Introducing a 24-hour economy to spur business development and job creation.
• Sectoral Growth: Revitalizing agriculture, manufacturing, and the creative economy to boost production and export potential.
• Infrastructure Development: Driving growth through strategic investments in energy, infrastructure, science, technology, and environmental sustainability.

As a social democratic party, we are unwavering in our commitment to inclusive development. We will prioritize investments in health, education, and sports, ensuring that no one is left behind. Particular attention will be given to empowering women, youth, children, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and marginalized groups. Our policies will promote equal access to public services, empowerment, and protection from abuse.

Strengthening Governance and Upholding Accountability

Good governance is a cornerstone of our vision for Ghana. We will uphold principled and friendly relations with all nations, support multilateralism, and safeguard our sovereign integrity. As your leader, I will demand the highest ethical standards from all appointees and hold public officials—past and present—accountable for their actions.

This manifesto represents the beginning of a journey toward national renewal—a commitment to reverse the decay we face today and foster prosperity for all. We do not underestimate the enormity of the task ahead, but we are fortified by our collective resilience and an unshakable belief in the ability of Ghanaians to rise above any challenge.

Together, We Will Build the Ghana We Want

Fellow citizens, I am filled with hope and confidence that when we unite our efforts, we can rescue our beloved country and create a Ghana that offers boundless opportunities for every citizen. This is a Ghana that our children will inherit with pride—a nation that stands as a beacon of hope and progress in the global community.

The NDC government I will lead will be dedicated to serving you with unwavering commitment, selflessness, and deep love for our country. I pledge to lead by example, ensuring that our government operates with transparency, integrity, and a focus on the greater good.

By the grace of Almighty God and with your support, we will reset the course of our nation and build the Ghana we all desire—a Ghana of freedom, justice, and opportunity for all.
